Accountagility was extremely fortunate to have recently taken part in a combined London Mayor Office and UKTI (UK Trade and Investment) trade mission to Boston and New York from 8-13 Feb 2015. We were one of 21 SME Fintech (financial services technology) companies that were showcased at a number of networking functions across the two cities.
Despite the snow (Boston shut down for two days), colds, frozen hair (NY morning stroll), we had an entirely unforgettable and worthwhile experience. It is a real privilege as CEO of a growing business to be offered this level of exposure, something that money alone can’t easily buy. Not to mention coaching in our “1-minute pitches”…
On behalf of Accountagility we would like to thank UKTI and the London Mayor’s office for coming up with a highly valuable and enlightening experience during the week that we were out there, also for adapting quickly to what were some pretty harsh “operating conditions”.
Last but by no means least we would like to thank Mayor Johnson for supporting us, not just through attending many of the functions, but in spirit, given the focus on the smaller end of the corporate spectrum. And for the London-NY comparisons (fuel for many debates during our stay).
And for the selfie!
